Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient form of Chinese medicine involving the insertion of solid filiform acupuncture needles into the skin at specific points on the body to achieve a therapeutic effect. No drug is injected. The needles alone create the beneficial effects of acupuncture.

Acupuncture is used to encourage natural healing, improve mood and energy, reduce or relieve pain and improve function of affected areas of the body. It is safe and effective and is often successfully used as an alternative to medications or even surgery. Relief is often obtained with acupuncture when traditional medical therapy has failed.

Treatments start at $100.

CUPPING

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine where at PG Acupuncture, we place special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. Our clients seek cupping treatments for a number of reasons: to help with pain, detox, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

Treatments start at $65.

tuning forks

A non-invasive approach rooted in Oriental medicine, psychology, science and sound. Precision calibrated tuning forks are applied on or over acupuncture points. The sound waves of the forks travel into the body along energy pathways that have been proven to impact the physical and emotional body.

Treatments are included during your appointment.

TRIGGER POINT INJECTION THERAPY

At PG Acupuncture, Samantha uses Acupoint Injection based on Acupuncture, Ashi and motor points.

Acupoint / Trigger Point Injections deal mainly with muscular, nerve and fascia pain, the type of pain that usually remains after a bad car accident in the neck, TMJ, shoulder region or in chronic low back pain.  Onset of this type of pain is frequently traumatic and then continues to linger for long periods of time often years. Over time muscle/fascia tension and imbalance combined with decreased blood flow to the joint cause arthritic changes. The muscle applies abnormal forces to the joint and wear and tear sets in.

Treatments start at $120.

sweet nasal therapy

Sweet nasal therapy is a gentle treatment for post concussive disorder involving flushing the sinus cavity. A mild solution feeds and restores function to the frontal lobe, making this a unique and gentle treatment that benefits adults and teenagers.

Treatments start at $40.

scalp injection therapy

Scalp injection therapy compliments sweet nasal therapy. This treatment is used to treat symptoms of post concussive disorder.

Treatments start at $60.
