OUR STORY
Our clinic was designed to be a boutique health care centre, where our patients can relax, unwind and experience the power of healing through acupuncture. Our space is small and discrete, so the chances of you running into your neighbour or boss are minimized.
At PG Acupuncture, our focus is on direct contact and improving patient care. Our vision is to restore your health naturally!
Samantha Peppard R. Ac.
Samantha Peppard brings a unique perspective to PG Acupuncture, having began her career as a chef in 1997. It was this experience that led Samantha to alternative medicine through the power of food as medicine.
After hanging up the apron, Samantha completed the 4 year Chinese Medicine diploma program from Nelson's Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in 2005. With this strong foundation, she also completed an internship at Vancouver's first fertility focused acupuncture clinic, Acubalance.
Additional training includes working for a couple of years in a private practice in Vancouver focusing on fertility support and women's health, as well as an exciting 3 month post graduate study with the University of NanJing in China.
In 2010, following the birth of her first son, Samantha moved to Prince George and began to expand her practice to include pre- and post-natal care. Samantha has expanded further into pain management and injury rehabilitation. During the past 16 years in practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Samantha has worked along side with other wellness centers. In 2018 while having her practice within the Gateway Plaza for close to 3 years, Samantha has completely branched out on her own, purchasing PG Acupunctures humble yellow heritage building in 2020.
